Trumbull Cary (August 11, 1787 Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut - June 20, 1869 Batavia, Genesee County, New York) was an American banker and politician from New York.
He was the son of Ebenezer Cary (1732-1816) and Sarah (Trumbull) Cary (1741-1830). In 1805, he removed to Batavia NY. On June 2, 1817, he married Margaret Eleanor Brisbane, and their only son was Dr. Walter Cary (1818-1881).
He was a member of the New York State Assembly (Genesee Co.) in 1828. In 1829, he was among the incorporators of the Bank of Genesee, and was its first President.
He was a member of the New York State Senate (8th D.) from 1831 to 1834, sitting in the 54th, 55th, 56th and 57th New York State Legislatures.
He was a New York State Bank Commissioner from 1840 to 1843.
